All criteria must be met to participate in the Help to Build program.
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
You must already own a titled block of vacant land in metropolitan Victoria. The land must be valued at $400,000 or below.
You need 5% of the construction price available in liquid funds. For a $500,000 build, that's $25,000.
The land must be a vacant block. Subdivisions are not permitted under this program.
The program supports both single and double storey builds. Choose the configuration that best suits your land, lifestyle, and budget.
You must sign a building contract with a ZPP-appointed builder to ensure quality and timeline control.
The home must be constructed within the 6-month build window specified in the program.
Both owner-occupiers and investors are eligible. The property can be your primary residence or an investment.
